Lesson 37 | Know God’s voice

Summary of key points

1. We have the privilege and joy to communicate with the Creator of the universe. 
2. God’s Spirit can communicate with us through convictions in our hearts, words of knowledge, visions, dreams, burdens, and even new desires. 
3. We need to test if what we receive is from God, from our own imaginations, or from evil spirits (with 7 ways to test).
4. Unbelief that God still speaks to people or will speak with us creates a significant obstacle in our hearts to hearing from Him. Other obstacles include hardened hearts, spiritual dullness, demands that God
prove Himself, as well as Satan and demonic spirits.
5. Seeking and listening to God is a daily habit we all need to develop, just as we make time for those we love (with 7 suggestions).
6. We need to turn our hearts back to God and listen for His voice (with guided prayer).
